A self-initiated redesign focused on improving the user experience.
Caffe Yoga is a yoga studio website redesigned to help visitors explore classes, instructors, memberships and events. The original site held all of that content, but it was spread across pages that used different language for the same thing.
The redesign keeps the warmth of the studio while making the practical questions, what class, with whom, when and for how much, answerable in a few seconds.
People didn't leave because of the yoga, they left because they couldn't interact with the website.
The existing site was audited page by page to record where structure, labels and navigation broke down.
Different related websites were analysed and certain gapes such as effort level, scheduling and price packaging became clear.
yogis were invited to the interview, they described how they look for a class that fits their level and schedule, and their criteria.
Classes, instructors, memberships and events were regrouped so each one has a clear home.
The original homepage led with discounts and had no consistent system. The redesign leads with the classes and a clear package explanation.
A walkthrough of the final Caffe Yoga prototype.
A studio website sells a feeling first and a schedule second, both need to be visible.
Grouping content the way visitors talk about it removed most of the navigation confusion.
Small clarity wins, like showing level, duration on a class card, and the filters in the scheduling reduced hesitation.
